Après LOVE, que nous avons tant aimé la saison passée, Alexander Zeldin revient à la Comédie de Genève.
Chargé d’empathie, de tendresse et d’humour, le metteur en scène britannique déploie un récit intime : une maison de famille dans laquelle cohabitent trois générations et l’ombre d’un père mort. On y croise Alice, ses deux enfants et la grand-mère de 84 ans, interprétée par Marie Christine Barrault, qui au soir de sa vie doit entrer en maison de retraite. À sa manière exigeante et sensible, Alexander Zeldin poursuit son exploration de la réalité sociale et observe ce que souvent nous ne voulons pas voir : la fin de vie, mais aussi comment les morts nous aident à vivre.
